On this day in 2008, the clouds were swift, the sky was gloomy, and a historic EF3 tornado ripped through Windsor, causing damage to homes and businesses, and killing one person. The tornado carved a path that was nearly 39 miles in length, according to the National Weather Service. Today, we remember and honor that severe weather exists. It can and it did happen here.
