Spokane Hikes pt. 1 - Rocks of Sharon. The name's origin lies with a former stop on the electric railroad that ran between Spokane and Pullman, Washington. This stop was located at the site of a store called "Sharon" situated south of Tower Mountain (also known as Krell Hill). Spokane residents would take the train to this stop and then hike up into the rocks for weekend picnics and day trips.
