Orphan season has arrived for us. This dear little man is Bandit and he’s a black flying fox who’s only a few days old. He was heard crying while clinging to the trunk of a tree in a flying fox camp adjacent to a caravan park. Just above him was his mother who had sadly passed, we couldn’t tell why. Thank you so much to the caring person who called to get him help. He’ll be lovingly raised then released back to the wild in a few months’ time. -----------------------------------------------------
