JWC SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT Strong thunderstorms developing in northern Illinois We are continuing to monitor rapidly developing storms to our north and west. Storm development near Mendota and Sheridan is particularly what we are keeping an eye on as these storms are showing an eastward movement (which would eventually put them near our area). As of right now storms are under severe limits. However, heavy rainfall, frequent lighting, and hail have been observed near these storm clusters. We a
