Space Marine 2 publisher Focus Entertainment talks to fans about the game's recent update after gamers express their frustrations.

Saber Interactive has revealed a year of free content updates coming for Space Marine 2, starting with a new operation against a massive Bio-Titan.

Space Marine 2 is still going strong on Steam and 4.5 million players later the sci-fi shooter is finally getting its first new operation since launch. Patch 4.0 adds a new multiplayer mission on the planet Kadaku called Termination as well as some notable changes to the underlying gameplay.

It’s been a little over one month since Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment put out Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, but the game has had no trouble keeping the attention of its fans. The developers have announced that Space Marine 2’s player count has expanded to 4.5 million since its launch, more than doubling its launch weekend numbers.

Space Marine 2 doesn’t have a massive selection of mods just yet, but you can already find about fifty or so of them over on NexusMods, with many more undoubtedly coming in the following weeks and months.
