Millions of people turned out for "No Kings" protests nationwide on Saturday that were largely peaceful though there were some arrests and police had to disperse unruly crowds, including in Georgia and Los Angeles.

New details from the Austin Police Department confirmed three arrests were made following the ‘No Kings’ protest at the Texas Capitol Saturday.

DPS has not released the name of the man, who it said was arrested on a misdemeanor traffic charge Saturday afternoon and taken in for questioning. A gun in the man's possession was seized, DPS said in a Monday afternoon news release.

On the same day Melissa Hortman and her husband were murdered in a "politically-motivated" assassination, more "politically-motivated" violence occurred at peaceful protests across the country.

"With the exception of a small number of agitators, the event remained largely peaceful," the Austin Police Department said.

Saturday's event at the Capitol remained peaceful. The Texas Department of Public Safety made one arrest earlier in the day related to threats against state lawmakers who were expected to speak.
