London Fire Brigade says fifteen crews, including ones from Holloway and Euston, have dashed to the restaurant, above which is flats, on Seven Sisters Road this morning

Fifteen fire engines have been called to a blaze at a takeaway restaurant in north London this morning. Around 100 firefighters are at the blaze in Seven Sisters Road in Islington. The London Fire Brigade said the whole of the ground floor of the building on Seven Sisters Road is alight.

Five people have been rushed to hospital after a massive blaze broke out at a north London restaurant in the early hours of Thursday morning.

A fire above a takeaway in Holloway, North London has left five people in hospital and homes evacuated as more than 100 firefighters are called to the scene.

Road closures are in place and the fire service is urging people to avoid the area. Residents are also being advised to keep their windows and doors shut.
