There are a lot of questions surrounding the deadly shooting of a 61-year-old Laurel County man this week, by London police officers who say they were there to serve a search warrant.

The man was shot and killed early Monday by London police. Officers were serving a search warrant, but no further information about the shooting was immediately available.

Life-saving measures were performed on the man at the scene, but was later pronounced dead by officials with the Coroner’s Office. No other injuries were reported during the incident.

Kentucky State Police reported that authorities in Laurel County are investigating an officer-involved shooting on Monday night that resulted in the death of one man.
