CDPQ to acquire Innergex Renewable Energy
Innergex Renewable Energy and CDPQ have made a definitive agreement for CDPQ to acquire all issued and outstanding common shares of Innergex at C$13.75 ($9.63) per share in cash. The agreement, also involves acquiring all preferred shares in Series A and C for C$25.
CDPQ to take Innergex Renewable Energy private for C$10bn EV
The take-private deal will see Innergex’s common shareholders receive C$13.75 in cash per share. The price has a premium of 58 percent over Innergex’s current share price of C$8.71 and an 80 percent premium over the 30-day volume weighted average price of C$7.66 on the TSX as of February 24.
