A California-based produce company is at the center of an ongoing recall after the grower announced its organic whole and baby carrots were potentially contaminated with E. coli. Grimmway Farms,

San Diego County warns of a national E. coli outbreak linked to Grimmway Farms organic carrots, with one death and several hospitalized.

The outbreak has caused 39 E. Coli infections in 18 states. Customers should either throw the carrots away or return them to stores.
