COTTON — An evacuation order has been issued for residents "south of Comstock Road, west of Upper Bug Lake (Road), East of Lily Lake, and North of Wood Tick," due to spread of the Munger Shaw Fire, St. Louis County Sheriff Gordon Ramsay posted on social media Wednesday afternoon.
DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – On Wednesday, the Jenkins Creek Fire continued to expand and is now the largest of the three wildfires burning in northeast Minnesota.
Fueled by low humidity and gusting winds, one fire started Sunday afternoon near Brimson and another fire started late Monday morning nearby.

– The Camp House Fire has now destroyed 140 buildings. While there is no updated figure, authorities now say the fire has spread in excess of 12,000 acres. The Jenkins Creek Fire is also ongoing, with deputies asking people to stay off of Forest Hwy 11 that leads from Townline to the City of Hoyt Lakes.
