The second half of the new cast of 14 queens will compete to be crowned America's Next Drag Superstar in a new episode of "RuPaul's Drag Race."

The new-season festivities continue on MTV as 14 new drag queens compete for the crown on “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” continues with season 17, episode 2. It airs today, Friday, Jan. 10, at 8 p.m. Eastern on MTV.

James Lee Williams, the first winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK” better known by their stage name The Vivienne, has died at age 32.  The British drag queen died over the weekend, their manager Simon Jones confirmed in a statement posted to Instagram.

James Lee Williams, a drag performer and winner of the inaugural season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK” who was best known by the stage name The Vivienne, died over the weekend. They were 32. Williams’s death was announced in a statement by their manager, Simon Jones, which did not cite a cause.

RuPaul has made his first public appearance since The Vivienne's death, delivering an emotional tribute at DragCon UK in London's ExCel centre on Friday. The 64-year-old drag icon appeared visibly moved as he addressed the crowd alongside fellow judge Michelle Visage.
