Cyclone Dana is likely to make landfall with a wind speed of 100-120 km per hour between Thursday night and Friday morning, causing extremely heavy rain in seven coastal districts.

As Cyclone Dana nears, Odisha and West Bengal governments prepare by relocating residents and setting up relief centres to ensure safety.

Both West Bengal and Kolkata municipal authorities have activated control rooms. Odisha has also established emergency command centers to monitor and manage cyclone-related incidents.
