Autonomous driving startup Pony.ai plans to file publicly for an initial public offering in the US as soon as this week, according to people familiar with the situation.

China-based autonomous driving firm Pony AI, backed by automaker Toyota , filed for an initial public offering in the U.S. on Thursday, in another sign of growing investor interest in new listings and easing regulatory pressures.

The self-driving startup didn’t say how many shares it would list or give an anticipated price range in a filing with the SEC.
