Christopher Nolan is following his Oscar-winning smash "Oppenheimer" with an adaptation of the ancient Greek epic poem "Odyssey" — and the movie will be shot with new IMAX technology, Universal announced.

Universal has dropped a cheeky (early) synopsis of Nolan’s next film just as everyone started their holiday break.

For months, it’s been rumored that director Christopher Nolan is working on a new star-studded movie and Universal confirmed that it’s a film adaptation of Homer’s "The Odyssey."

Nolan is also behind epic films including “Inception,” “The Dark Knight,” “Dunkirk” and his most recent film “Oppenheimer,” which scored big at last year’s Oscars when it took home the trophy for best picture. Nolan won that award as a producer, and also took home the Academy Award for best director.
