After two weekends full of music, food and fun, the city of Austin is due for another frenzied few days at this week’s end. The Austin City Limits Music Festival had hundreds of thousands of fans descend upon Zilker Park to see headliners Chris Stapleton,

The city has not sold out of hotel rooms yet for this weekend, according to Lucas. When it comes to inventory, she said there’s a healthy supply. “By the end of this calendar year, there will be 50,000 hotel rooms within the Austin market. 15,000 of those are located here in downtown,” Lucas said.

The engines will roar this weekend at Circuit Of The Americas for the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix, with hundreds of thousands of people. On Thursday, fans downtown started trickling in from around the country and the world.
