Sony to Mostly Drop PS4 Games from PS Plus Starting January 2026
So, from January 2026 onwards, native PS5 titles will be the focus of PS Plus, across all three tiers. There will still be a PS4 version thrown in here and there, but it should no longer be an expectation in 12 months. How do you feel about this change to the service? PS Plus and Game Catalog Ramps Down Monthly PS4 Games
One of the primary benefits for PlayStation Plus subscribers will be taken away in a year. Sony Interactive Entertainment announced PS4 games will no longer be a “key benefit” for subscribers. Games for the last gen platform will only be offered occasionally through PS Plus’ Monthly Games and Game Catalog perks.
