The Red Wings' penalty kill is biting them in a big way, and now there's a big question in goal after Cam Talbot left Sunday's game early.

DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings lost goaltender Cam Talbot to an injury, their penalty kill continued to struggle and they lost a lead late in regulation. They still emerged with a point but lost 5-4 to the Vancouver Canucks on Jake DeBrusk’s goal with 1:00 remaining in overtime at Little Caesars Arena.

DETROIT -- Cam Talbot sustained a lower-body injury for the Detroit Red Wings in the second period against the Vancouver Canucks at Little Caesars Arena on Sunday and will not return. The 37-year-old goalie left at 6:38 after Red Wings forward Alex DeBrincat tied the game 2-2. Talbot was replaced by Ville Husso.
