Gov. Greg Abbott's expanded agenda for the upcoming special session includes the controversial topic of redistricting and responding to the deadly Central Texas floods.

President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump toured the flood damage in Kerr County, Texas on Friday afternoon.

Several organizations are accepting donations for those impacted by the floods, as well as first responders and volunteers.

Governor Greg Abbott has activated state emergency response resources in preparation for severe storms and flash flooding across Texas, urging Texans to remain weather-aware and heed local officials' guidance for safety.
