Authorities say there was a police-involved shooting at the Grand Sierra Resort casino in Reno, Nevada, on Monday and multiple injuries were reported. Reno police spokesperson Chris Johnson said a man was in custody and had been hospitalized in unknown condition.

The gunman shot five people at a valet area, fired at a resort security guard, who wasn’t injured, and then fatally shot someone driving by before police shot him, authorities said.

The gunman suspected of killing three people and injuring several others in a mass shooting at the Grand Sierra Resort has died, according to the Sparks Police Department. Dakota Hawver, 26, died overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning.
