An unprovoked Hamas attack on Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) workers left at least eight people dead and many others injured, as the U.S.-backed organization fears some team members may have been taken hostage.

It said at least five aid workers were killed and it fears some team members "may have been taken hostage". The aid organisation said multiple people were injured in the alleged attack. In a statement,
