The Detroit Lions moved up to ninth in the annual NFLPA team report card based on player surveys. Head coach Dan Campbell received an A-plus.

Dan Campbell referred to the reshaping of his coaching staff as “phase two” of finding the right fits. And from naming John Morton as offensive coordinator to Kelvin Sheppard as defensive coordinator and all the new assistants, Campbell is confident he once again found the right fits for Detroit.

Detroit Lions offensive tackle Penei Sewell has been ranked among the best players in the NFL and in a new NFL top 100 players list. The former Oregon Ducks fan-favorite was ranked 26th overall and the fifth-best offensive tackle.

The NFL recently released concussion data for 2024. There were 182 total concussions during the year which includes preseason, regular season, and practices. That averages out to 5.7 per team. The Lions, by my count, had six official concussions during the 2024 season which is right at the league average.

Lions players love Dan Campbell. The annual NFLPA survey is out, and players gave their head coach an A+ grade. Only six of 32 coaches received an A+ grade from their players. Brad Galli has more.
