The Calgary Police Service has issued a Canada-wide warrant for a former 16-year member of the force charged with breach of trust.

A former Calgary police officer has been charged with breach of trust for incidents that occurred over his 16 years of service. After a 16-month-long investigation by the Calgary Police Service Professional Standards Section and consultation with the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service,

Known as “Johnny Hockey,” Gaudreau played the first eight of his 10 full seasons with Calgary, where he developed into one of the NHL’s top players. He spent his last two seasons with the Blue Jackets.

The family of the late Johnny Gaudreau made an emotional return to the city where he earned the moniker “Johnny Hockey.” Johnny played the first nine seasons of his NHL career as a member of the Calgary Flames.

With the Gaudreau family watching from the stands, the Calgary Flames shut out the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-0 in a game between the two franchises for which the late Johnny Gaudreau played.
