The festival returns for its 17th year on Oct. 11-12 with an expanded lineup beyond the traditional juried art show.

The Vine Humboldt, the reconfigured beer garden in Humboldt Park, 3000 S. Howell Ave., will open on May 23 as a wine and beer garden serving fresh-baked Peruvian empanadas.
