The Miami Dolphins (1-3) earned their first win of the season on Monday night, forcing three turnovers while leaning on their new tight end Darren Waller in a 27-21 victory over the New York Jets (0-4) at Hard Rock Stadium.

Tight end Darren Waller (hip) was limited in practice and is expected to make his Dolphins debut. Receiver Tyreek Hill missed practice Saturday for personal reasons but is expected to play. Cornerbacks Storm Duck (ankle) and Jason Marshall Jr. (hamstring) did not practice Thursday or Friday.

Trailing by 27-21, the Jets attempted an onside kick, but it was recovered by Miami. The Jets' defense got the stop it needed, but a punt downed on the 1-yard line gave the Jets the ball with just 2 seconds remaining. The Green & White was unable to complete the comeback.

Dolphins-Panthers is a game featuring two of the NFL's most forgettable teams. Yet Collins called it, at no risk of hyperbole, like it was a Super Bowl on a play-by-play basis. Maybe I'm too cynical, but I find it hard to believe this announcing style doesn't get old for a lot of people after a while.
