The Cleveland Cavaliers face the Boston Celtics in a regular season NBA game on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025 (10/29/25) at TD Garden in Boston, Mass.
Boston will get a chance to rectify one of those early losses with a Friday trip to Philadelphia, in which the Celtics will take on the 76ers in the opening round of the NBA Cup. As in previous years, NBA Cup games will count toward teams’ regular-season records with four teams from each conference advancing to a knockout tournament.
"The challenge is they're going to come with a different mentality," Justin Edwards said. "We beat them at home in the opener. We just got to try to build off of what we did last game and then add the pieces that we have and the film that we've been watching just trying to put into the game."
