Ubisoft has cut the price of the Japan-set Assassin's Creed Shadows' Collector's Edition by $50 in lieu of the cancelled Season Pass, scrapped "Early Access" plans, and its delay to 2025.

Ubisoft confirms that the Collector's Edition of Assassin's Creed Shadows will have a significantly lower price once its pre-orders return.

In an occurrence that is growing worryingly common, Assassin's Creed Shadows is at the center of another controversy, this time over a collector's figurine.

A statue made for the release of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows won’t see the light of day, after its maker received criticism for its design. Statue maker PureArts apologized on Tuesday for what it called an “insensitive design,” and said it’s reworking the collectible based on the game’s dual protagonists Yasuke and Naoe.
