Tkachuk, Senators complete comeback against Rangers in OT
Tkachuk, who extended his goal streak to five games, took a cross-ice pass from Tim Stutzle and beat Igor Shesterkin five-hole with a wrist shot from the right slot. Stutzle extended his point streak to 14 games on the goal (five goals, 15 assists).
Tkachuk and Norris developed a strong relationship over the years, having been drafted by the Senators in back-to-back years. Tkachuk has spent his entire six-and-a-half-year career in Ottawa, while Norris’ time with the team ends after five-and-a-half seasons.
Tkachuk is "hopeful" to play Wednesday against the Winnipeg Jets but doesn't want to "reaggravate" the injury.
You could certainly make the case that Dylan Cozens has not been the same player since he was destroyed in a fight with Garnet Hathaway early in the 2023-24 season. So to expect him to come in and drop the gloves on a regular basis is probably a little unrealistic.
