Sidney Crosby had a goal and two assists to move into ninth on the NHL’s career scoring list as the Pittsburgh Penguins beat Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers 5-3.

Connor McDavid was suspended by the NHL for three games for cross-checking Conor Garland of the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday. After being held down on the ice for too long, he hit Garland in the face.

Sidney Crosby recorded his 1,643rd career point on Thursday, moving him to ninth place on the all-time NHL points list.
