State and local officials on April 21 celebrated the groundbreaking for a $45 million project to overhaul and renovate the Perth Amboy Train Station.
The Byford rail extension project involves an 8km extension of the Armadale railway line between Armadale train station and the Byford suburb in Perth, Western Australia.
The Perth Amboy train station, built in 1927 and located near the Raritan River, served an average of 874 weekday passenger trips before the pandemic, according to NJ Transit.
