Several streets near Point State Park are closed due to a large water main break in Downtown Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh Public Safety says the water main break took place near the intersection of Commonwealth Place and Liberty Avenue on Sunday evening.

People are being told to boil their water after a water main break in Ennis led to several other breaks. Ennis ISD has canceled class on Monday as a result.

In the meantime, a boil water notice is issued for customers on West King Street, from Manatawny Street to Berks Street, West Chestnut Street, West Walnut Street, West Beech Street, Potts Court, Gable Avenue and Shoemaker Road from West King Street to Route 100.

Multiple subway lines suspended service in Manhattan just ahead of the evening rush — and as the holiday travel rush was already underway — due to a water main break, according to officials.

At least three agencies have responded to a water main break in Urbana Friday evening. According to the Urbana Police Department, they responded to reports of a water main break at approximately 5 p.m.

HERKIMER, N.Y. -- Some Village of Herkimer residents are without water. The Village says a water main break late Saturday night is to blame. The village says customers from Lou Ambers Drive to Westwood Drive are affected. Residents in that area will be under a boil water advisory once service is restored.

A boil water notice for the City of Ennis is causing Ennis ISD classes to be canceled for students and staff on Monday, Dec. 2.
