Sir Richard Branson is preparing for another space adventure, this time as a co-pilot on the first-ever commercial stratospheric balloon flight. This comes after Branson became the first billionaire to journey into space in 2021 aboard a Virgin Galactic spacecraft.

In a move set to redefine space tourism, Sir Richard Branson will co-pilot the inaugural crewed flight of Space Perspective’s innovative stratospheric balloon, ascending to 20 miles above Earth.

Regular flights in the space balloon is expected to begin in 2026. Space Perspective is already accepting deposits for the flight in its 'carbon-neutral' flights. You can reserve a seat for $1,000 or Rs 84,000. The total cost of one seat is approximately Rs 1.05 crore.
