Coach Sean McVay gave an injury update on his starter this weekend continuing the messaging that Stafford is "week-to-week." Giving an overall update, McVay said, "Week-to-week. I wish I could help you out more with that."

With just a month remaining before the start of the regular season, the Los Angeles Rams are dealing with a concerning situation regarding star quarterback Matthew Stafford. Stafford has been dealing with a back injury that has forced him out of action.

The Rams’ backup quarterback is Jimmy Garoppolo so it will likely be him who challenges the starting defense for the Cowboys. You never want to see an injury situation like this, and it is certainly unfortunate that the Cowboys won’t have a chance to work against one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL.
