Supergirl's first poster has been unveiled by DC Studios co-head James Gunn ahead of the movie's June 2026 release.

Hot off the heels of the blockbuster success of Superman, DC Studios is ready to introduce us to another child of Krypton already. After tiny teases throughout its production, we have our first proper look at Milly Alcock’s Supergirl.

Now Gunn has revealed on X another look at Alcock’s Supergirl in the first poster for the upcoming “Supergirl” movie from director Craig Gillespie, which opens in theaters June 26, 2026.

Superman director and co-head of DC Studios James Gunn shared as much on Wednesday, July 16 when he posted a photo on Twitter/X of the heroine sipping a blue slushy to promote the upcoming Supergirl film. Playing off marketing for Superman, which encouraged audiences to "Look Up," Gunn, 58, captioned the photo "Look Out. 2026."

Alcock shared the meme just moments after DC boss James Gunn posted the first Supergirl poster. The new look shows the hero standing in front of a Superman mural, which she has vandalized, whilst she drinks an unknown beverage from a paper cup. Both the meme and the poster sure do fit with Supergirl’s wild reputation as introduced in Superman.
