The weather for the Seahawks victory parade could not have been more perfect, now it is time to get down to serious winter weather, with rain and mountain snow.
Rain returns Friday with a 10% chance of showers during the day and evening, while overnight lows will settle at 37°F. The weekend and early next week will remain mostly cloudy and cool, with highs in the mid-40s and a slight chance of a rain-snow mix in some lowland spots by Tuesday.
A cloudy start to Thursday with areas of dense fog, especially in the southwest interior.
Rain showers will return to the forecast Monday as a weak disturbance moves through western Washington. Snow levels will be around 3,000 feet, bringing some light snow accumulation over the mountain passes. After Monday’s rain, we will dry out again Tuesday through Friday with morning clouds and fog, and afternoon sunshine.
The first Saturday in February will see rainy conditions with a high of 52 and breezy winds with gusts up to 21 mph, according to the National Weather Service. Football fans can expect a high of 46 on Sunday, with afternoon showers, as the 12s gather to watch the Seahawks take on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX.
