PROVIDENCE — Beginning next fall, undergraduate students at Johnson & Wales University will be able to obtain a bachelor’s degree in select studies within only three years while attending classes in-person — a new approach university officials said will be the first of its kind in the United States.

Johnson & Wales University on Wednesday announced the launch of three-year, in-person bachelor’s degree programs in several academic fields.
