Russell Wilson is putting his playing career on hold. The veteran quarterback will join CBS Sports for their Sunday pregame show for the upcoming NFL season, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Wilson, per NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, had an offer to be a backup quarterback, but chose to go into TV instead. The longtime QB is not officially retiring.
