Fans of Barbie’s Margot Robbie and The Penguin’s Colin Farrell will have to wait a few more months for the duo’s new romance drama. The theatrical release of A Big Bold Beautiful Journey has been pushed back.

Moviegoers will have to wait a little longer for the Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell-led romantic fantasy “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey,” as Sony has shifted the film’s domestic theatrical release from May 9 to Sept.

A Big Bold Beautiful Journey is directed by Kogonada and written by Seth Reiss. Logline is “An imaginative tale of two strangers and the unbelievable journey that connects them.” I suppose we’ll see a trailer of the movie at CinemaCon at the Sony presentation in two weeks.

"A Big Beautiful Journey" is taking a journey of its own. The Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell-led drama, which was originally dated for a May 9 release, is moving to September 19. This will make the film a key bit of counterprogramming in the horror-heavy pre-Halloween corridor.
