Norfolk State University head coach Michael Vick has his first quarterback commitment as an HBCU coach- and its a former Alabama football star from the prep ranks. Earl Woods III, who started his career at Kennesaw State, has committed to Norfolk State University. He made his announcement via Twitter/X on Sunday.

The Norfolk State football program got a commitment from Kennesaw State transfer quarterback James Woods III, giving new head coach Michael Vick a talented quarterback to work with in his first season with the program.

One of the most accomplished dual-threat quarterbacks in recent Alabama high school football history is set to play for Michael Vick. Former Hueytown standout and Alabama Gatorade Player of the Year Earl Woods III has committed to play at FCS Norfolk State for the former Pro Bowl quarterback,
