Head coach JJ Redick addressed the media during practice to provide an update on Doncic and the squad. Per Lakers insider Jovan Buha, he revealed that Marcus Smart and Gabe Vincent took part in most of practice, including live sessions, while Doncic, James, and Maxi Kleber were limited to individual drills.

There were questions about him being in shape. He was traded from Dallas to Los Angeles despite the fact that he led to the Mavericks to the NBA Finals the season before. Doncic has never won an NBA MVP award before. Will this finally be the year that he is going to win it?
