Princess Kate's hair was instantly reminiscent of the bridal hairstyle from her royal wedding to Prince William in April 2011. She wore her rich brunette tresses in a demi-chignon with a soft side part and cascading curls, adding a true royal touch with Queen Elizabeth 's Cartier Halo Tiara and a sweeping veil.

In addition to her earrings, Kate wore a bold orange and green retro wool coat from the 1960s, a bespoke item made from Melin Tregwynt fabric—which was her first stop of the day. She paired the vibrant coat with an olive green N. Peal green cashmere turtleneck, wide-legged Victoria Beckham pants, and olive suede Gianvito Rossi pumps.
