India and Australia took on each other in the fifth T20 of the five-match series at the Gabba in Brisbane, with India hoping to win the match and seal the series 3-1 in their favour, while Australia hoped to finish the series at 2-2.

Shubman Gill-led team India gained a commanding victory over Australia at the Carrara Oval today. Indian all-rounders seized the day today as almost all rounders in the team, namely Axar Patel, Washington Sundar and Shivam Dube,

Washington Sundar bowled just eight deliveries in the match but took as many as three wickets and conceded just three runs, India have ensured that they won't lose the series.

With that win, Australia Champions climb up to number two on the points table. However, the action will continue in the World Championship of Legends, as the game between the West Indies Champions and the Pakistan Champions is about to start in a short while.
