World’s longest fangs! Gaboon vipers!
Gaboon vipers are known for having some of the longest fangs in the snake world. A closer look reveals just how extreme these features are and why these snakes are so feared.
Gaboon vipers have the longest fangs of any venomous snake, at 2 inches, and have the highest venom yield of any snake, reports show. A bite from one can easily be deadly, though bites are not common.
