The Denver Broncos have a secret weapon on the sidelines
The Denver Broncos sure are easy to cheer for this season. As a fan first who tries his level best to get as objective as possible, it is hard at times to stay grounded when your team is 6-2 and looking each week like they are improving in multiple areas.
The Broncos are the first team in NFL history with at least 35 sacks on defense and 10 or fewer sacks allowed on offense in the first eight games of a season.
“Denver beat Dallas for the seventh straight time Sunday. The last Cowboys team to beat the Broncos was coached by Barry Switzer and got 114 rushing yards from Emmitt Smith. Bo Nix threw four touchdown passes and J.K. Dobbins rushed for 111 to keep the streak alive,” Josh Kendall and Chad Graff write. See the full rankings.

The Denver Broncos had one of the more random free-agent visits on Tuesday, working out 41-year-old tight end Marcedes Lewis, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Beyond that, Singleton has been good for two of his last three games. He’s missed just three tackles in his last five games, and flew around for 11 tackles on Sunday. Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson came into Week 8 leading all NFL tight ends in catches, and didn’t finish with a single reception against the Broncos. Singleton played a role in that.
The Denver Broncos are working out Marcedes Lewis to try and add more depth to their tight end room after the injuries they were hit with.
