Delhi Police arrested three contractors after an under construction building collapsed in Chawri Bazar, killing two workers and injuring two others.

An RTI response from the MCD says the Satya Niketan building that collapsed, killing seven, had no sanctioned plan or completion certificate and no recorded prior safety complaints. Delhi Police has charged six people with culpable homicide and other offences in connection with the collapse.
