Some grocery stores will be open for Thanksgiving 2024. Here are hours of operation for some in metro Detroit.

All Publix locations are also closed on Thanksgiving Day. The supermarket chain tweeted its holiday closure before the 2024 holiday, writing, “We wish you a bountiful Thanksgiving. Our stores are closed tomorrow, November 28, so our associates can enjoy time with their loved ones. We will resume regular hours Friday, November 29.”
