Ukrainian President discusses NATO membership talks with Donald Trump
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that during his conversation with Donald Trump, he cited the Budapest Memorandum, in which the U.S., China, Russia, France, and other nuclear powers guaranteed Ukraine’s territorial integrity in exchange for its renunciation of nuclear weapons — guarantees that have not been upheld.
