BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – United Launch Alliance postponed Monday’s launch of an Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral on Monday. ULA says the delay was due to “an elevated purge temperature within the booster engine.” Liftoff was targeted for 1:25 p.m. EDT. A new launch date has not been set.

Specifically, ULA announced the launch-time forecast called for scattered clouds and high-level cirrus clouds, a chance of isolated showers, good visibility, southeasterly winds of 15 to 21 mph, and a temperature near 82 degrees.
