No official release date for The Blood of Dawnwalker has currently been announced. Neither developer Rebel Wolves or publisher Bandai Namco have revealed any details regarding a launch, however, have stated that more details and gameplay will be premiered sometime in summer 2025.

The game's atmosphere is very similar to The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine DLC, which also featured vampires in a medieval fantasy land, which seems very intentional. Like Geralt's adventure, Dawnwalker's will feature a branching story, shaped by players through various choices.
