Evacuation warnings have been issued for Riverside County residents north of the 60 Freeway, east of Country Village Road, south of the Riverside/San Bernardino County line, and west of Sierra Avenue.

Firefighters responded to a brush fire in Fontana Thursday evening. The vegetation fire was first reported at around 5:30 p.m. in the area of Canyon Crest Drive and Weeping Willow Lane, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.

A new wildfire was reported today at 6:11 p.m. in Riverside County. The wildfire has been burning on private land. At this time, the containment status is unknown and the cause of the fire remains undetermined.
